The third annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest at Loch Low-Minn saw lots of new participants! Fifteen artists descended into the spooky waters and carved for glory and prizes.
We want to thank the participants for their fantastic work and all the Loch Low-Minn guests for coming out to enjoy this great last weekend of open water diving. Your continued support is invaluable, and your enjoyment makes it all worth while!
Special thanks goes out to Rhea's Diving for helping make this year's contest more competitive and to Kelly Lynn Baker for her help with setting up all of the spooky underwater decorations.
Grab your best pumpkin and come down to Loch Low-Minn for a day of Halloween fun! Contestants will descend into the spookily clear waters of the loch as they compete to carve the best Jack-o-Lantern under the water.

Loch Low‑Minn will be closed on Monday, September 5th, in recognition of Labor Day. We will still be open during regular business hours this Saturday and Sunday, and we look forward to seeing you all then. Have a fantastic Labor Day weekend!
Friends of Loch Low-Minn, we need your help! One of our new rental suits - a Seac WarmFlex 7mm wetsuit (LP size) - seems to have been misplaced sometime in the last three weeks. If any of you happen to have noticed it lying around the resort where it shouldn't have been or might have found one has mysteriously appeared amongst your own scuba gear, please let us know! We're sure it is scared and homesick, and we would like to see it safely back on the Loch Low-Minn storage hangers for future divers to enjoy. Thanks for all your help!
Due to technical difficulties, we will not be able to accept Credit Card payments this Saturday, August 6th. All payments will need to be made by cash or check. Please plan your visit accordingly.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will do our best to have the issue resolved by Sunday. In the meantime, please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Loch Low-Minn cares deeply about the safety of our customers, so when we were informed of a giant black hornet nest between tables 9 and 10 last weekend, we sprang into action!
We grabbed our trusty wasp spray and ran straight toward... our fellow diver Darrell Haynes, who bravely and professionally took care of the terrifying pain piñata for us.
We considered leaving the empty nest up as decoration until the end of the season, but frankly, we were kind of scared that the hornets might come back. Now, the seating area is safe once again, so be sure to thank Darrell when you stop by the loch this weekend. The weather should be fantastic, and the hornets are no more! We hope to see you there!
In honor of Independence Day, Loch Low-Minn will be open this weekend and on Monday (July 4th) during regular business hours. Come on by to enjoy the water, say hi to the paddlefish, and celebrate all the freedoms that we are blessed with!
Did you know that you can always find the latest water temperature data on the Loch Low-Minn website? We depend on divers like you help us gather this information so that future visitors are always prepared for the conditions of the loch. Thank you all for your help. Happy diving!
Loch Low-Minn would like to invite fellow divers to support a good local cause. If you are able, please consider donating to help Veterans Appreciation Scuba Day reach or exceed its goal of $1500 by July 14th. Money raised goes to a scholarship fund for veterans, first responders, EMT, and police to experience Introductory SCUBA diving events and receive their Open Water Certification. Donations of $50 or more will be entered to win a ScubaPro BC!
Thank you all for supporting the local SCUBA diving community, and may you always dive in clear waters!
In recognition of Memorial Day, Loch Low-Minn would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served in the armed forces. Thank you!
In addition to our regular weekend business hours, the resort will also be open on Monday, May 30th, from 11am to close. As always, we offer a 10% discount on admission to those who present a valid Military ID card.
We look forward to seeing all of our diving friends, old and new, on this extended diving weekend. The paddlefish are waiting!
Just like the paddlefish, the Loch Low-Minn staff look forward to seeing you all this weekend, when we kick off the 2016 diving season. Grab your gear and get ready for a summer full of scuba diving fun!

This year, Loch Low-Minn must wish a fond farewell to our own Jim Cruse, who is moving out of state before we open for the 2016 diving season.
Ever since he joined the new Loch Low-Minn only a few short years ago, he has quickly become an invaluable asset and a good friend. His enthusiasm for adventure and attention to safety were an inspiration to us all.
Although he will be sorely missed, we wish him all the best in his new home and hope that he visits us again soon!
