2016 Annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest

Lommie Carving a Pumpkin

The third annual Underwater Pumpkin Carving Contest at Loch Low‑Minn saw lots of new participants!
Fifteen artists descended into the spooky waters and carved amazing Jack-o-Lanterns for glory and prizes.

We want to thank the participants for their fantastic work and all the Loch Low-Minn guests for coming out to enjoy this great last weekend of open water diving. Your continued support is invaluable, and your enjoyment makes it all worth while!
Special thanks goes out to Rhea's Diving for helping make this year's contest more competitive and to Kelly Lynn Baker for her help with setting up all of the spooky underwater decorations.

Below is a collection of pictures from the event.

Some eager divers can't stand the wait
Finally, the divers descend to begin the competition
Abandon all hope, ye who enter here.
Even the wildlife has been turned undead.
Do scorpions even tread the sea floor, or have lobsters become deadly?
